The National Drowning Prevention Alliance is a 501 c3 non-profit organization founded in 2004. Our purpose is to be a catalyst in drowning prevention, to address drowning risks of all types in all bodies of water for people of all ages, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds, and to provide state of the art resources, publications, and information to support drowning prevention efforts nationwide.
JADES, Journey After a Drowning Experience Support Network was established by the NDPA to offer peer-to-peer support for families and friends who have lost a loved one to a drowning, or whose loved one suffered injury from a drowning incident. The blog is a site where people can share stories, offer encouragement, and extend compassionate support to others who are sharing similar journeys.
